Jake Gooberballs

Indeed that would be me! Allow me to clarify the name. My name is Jake Gyllenhaal (JILL-EN-HALL) but if that is too tough to say I'll take Jake Gooberballs or Jack Nasty. Either one works just fine..though they both sound like real bad porno names now that I look at them. But that is of no consequence. In any case, I was born and raised in California. I truly think I had a great childhood, full of fantastic stories that can only come with a family where everyone is in this business. I can't complain about much. It wasn't 'perfect' but for me, it was as close as it gets. I could get into it, but I don't want to write a book here. My hands are far too cold!

This December I am turning 28. Yep, still clinging to my twenties! Not that I think getting old is bad or even that 30 IS old. It's just funny how my sister always loves to make fun of me. She think I will never be thirty. And hey it wouldn't be all that bad if she was right!! Who wouldn't mind being in their 20's forever? Even if the trendy magazines say 30 is the new 20. I say that being content is the new bitching about everything so whatever age, sex, creed, or whatever you are, BE HAPPY WITH YOUR LIFE! It could be worse. Plus none of us has it all that bad now do we? Could be worse. We could all be on fire. I heard that hurts...

Oh one little tidbit about yours truly: I get off topic...like a lot. Some people say I'm kinda like a weird hyper squirrel so bare with me! This is going places I promise you.

What else is there to say? Never been married, though I've had a couple serious relationships in the past. For the record, me and Kirstin are just friends, and me and Reese are just friends. I am actually SINGLE right now (woohoo!!) and loving every second of my life. Anyway, I have to say that out of all the relationships I have had, people still loom over the fake ones. You know like Brokeback Mountain. My lord if one more person asks me if me and Heath were dating I am gonna scream. No we were not dating! We were awesome friends but that is it! And I do miss the hell out of him but I won't get into that now. Maybe later. I will say though that he was a lovely man and that I am still doing my part to take care of the two ladies in his life. We've all become family after we made Brokeback and it's kinda my duty to be around. Especially when I am Matilda's Godfather. :D

Onto the subject of movies. Yeah I've been in a few. I hope you have seen at least one or two. Of course Brokeback Mountain like I said, Donnie Darko, Rendition, Proof...yeah all those. I am just wrapping up the filming of Prince of Persia all the way in lovely Morocco which is where I am right now. So why the cold hands? You'd be shocked how cold the desert gets at night. I learned the hard way while filming Jarhead.
